This is one of a pair of little theatres commenting on the Great Recession. In "Tanked," a dollar-man high in the peak of the Big Top, is caught in the instant before he precipitates himself into a tank of flames, far, far below. The other theatre, the first of the pair, is entitled "Curtains". Against a Wall St. backdrop a dollar-man stands downstage center. When you manipulate a rod let into the base, he can be made to swivel and bow to the house. He does not notice, a foot above his "head," the black safe, on a Looney Toons trajectory to squash him flat. The prosceniums of the two theatres are taken from the façade of the Federal Reserve.
