The resurgent popularity of this style suggests a desire for clean lines and a light feel; these pieces work especially well in today's smaller living spaces. Tables are split-level, with discreet surfaces for lighting above and storage below. Simple yet dramatic shapes rely on light and shadow rather than mass for their impact. I expect to expand this line in the coming months, with coffee tables and more. There are a number of one-off pieces throughout this site with a Mid-Century Modern flavor which would combine beautifully with these limited-production ones.
