The flat screen sits in the L formed by the cabinet top and shelf side. The electronic components occupy the open area; there are shelves behind the sliding laminate doors. The material is a translucent synthetic that has discs of a silvery, mother-of-pearl-like material imbedded in it. The edges' shape imparts a lightness to the carcase, which is long at 76".
