De Wolf Dining Table

The room adjoining has a number of lovely Chinese pieces. I wanted to make something to complement those while keeping it practical, and expanding, for an expanding family, including grandchildren, for whom we made a sheltered nest, cozy in the crotch of leg and stretcher, to accommodate the birds on the chair backs.
