This suite of tables in cherry, for a Craftsman-style home, incorporates a "cloud-lift" profile in its aprons. This was a favorite motif, drawn from Chinese furniture, of the brothers Greene, whose architecture and furniture designs were the most refined and accomplished of the Craftsman era. The turned leg and stretcher elements are joined with through-tenons. The edges of the tops were originally square; I'd oiled and mounted them, but it wasn't right. A slight bevel was worked and recoated. Much better.
