Duck Table

Gene owns a dining table from the Wooden Duck, an outfit in Berkeley which had gone under some years ago, that he and his wife loved. They had wanted to supplement that piece with several others in a complimentary style and material (walnut) - a sofa table, end and coffee tables, a wall console and a table that could act as buffet/server to the dining table. Gene lost his wife before they could have the tables built, but the desire to realize their ideas remained and he asked me to build them. I tweaked the Duck design for the end and coffee tables, and designed something different for the tall tables.
